Production Emilio Pucci
In the 1990’s, Emilio’s daughter, Laudomia Pucci, began to take over her father’s business. In April 2000, an alliance was formed between the Pucci family and LVMH, the French luxury group, where 67% of the capital was acquired. Since then Laudomia Pucci is Image Director.
In October 2006 Matthew Williamson, English famed designer, was appointed Creative Director, taking over the role from Christian Lacroix who had been designing the brand’s collection for 3 years.
2007 was a landmark year for Emilio Pucci as the storied Florentine fashion brand celebrated its 60th anniversary. What started as a spontaneous fashion-fix on the slopes of Zermatt - Emilio Pucci effortlessly designing a chic ski outfit for a female friend - later exploded into a global fashion phenomenon that continues to resonate to this day.
