Petersburgers will get on an Italian footwear from China

Shoe company Carlo Pazolini has declared plans to double quantity of the shops in Petersburg in 2006. Initial investments for opening one shop reach 400 thousands dollars. Footwear under an Italian brand is producing in China and Russia.

Up to the end of 2006 Carlo Pazolini, owning now four own shops in Petersburg, will open up to four boutiques. Alexey Leonov the director on development of the company has informed about it. As he said, by 2007 the quantity of shops will increase on 10-14.

In northern capital the company is going to develop only own shops and not to give anyone else the right of the franchise. Investments in new boutiques will make about 1,6 millions dollars. For opening the shop Carlo Pazolini needs premise in the central part of city the area of 100-250 sq.m. On the average initial investments for opening the shop –250-400 thousand dollars.

Now the company owns trade marks Carlo Pazolini, Carlo Pazolini Couture, Adami and has the industrial enterprises in Italy, Spain, Russia and China. Company doesn’t make a secret for buyer, that under Italian trade-mark he’ll buy commodity, made in China." We have to responsible for quality of the shoe, not for the country where it is producing ", – Alexey Leonov tells. – Now good footwear from China cannot be cheap ".

Probably Carlo Pazolini will collide competitors in Petersburg. In 2006 the moscow company "Alba Corporation" which also produce and sells footwear at retail, has opened in Guest Court the fourth interior of footwear ALBA. Then the deputy director on development of a retail network Irina Stepanova spoke, that thought that interiors of Carlo Pazolini are their basic competitor. "Alba Corporation" also plans to open in Neva city some more shops.
