Pontiff was presented with 15 001 pair of footwear

On Saturday Pope Benedikt XVI has visited{attended} the city of Vidzhevano, a considered shoe capital of Italy. Pontiff was presented with 15 001 pair of footwear - one for him and 15 thousand - for requiring worldwide.

As it is noticed Pope managed light shoes from leather of a kangaroo, made by company Moreschi. All other footwear will be delivered to the charitable organizations chosen by Vatican.

The agency pays our attention on fact, that in last year Benedikt XVI has made furor – he appeared on a public in red stylish shoes and in such way has generated hearings that the well-known Italian designers are engaged in a papal wardrobe.
