If you want to buy expensive footwear first you should to get higher education!

Experts of marketing agency «Media Navigator» have conduct the interrogation devoted to purchase of footwear in Nizhni Novgorod. During research the townspeople have told how frequently they get footwear, where they prefer to buy it and what sums are usually spends on it. Inhabitants of Nizhni Novgorod in the age from 18 to 55 years have took part in interrogation; sample corresponds(meets) to city distribution on a sex, age and a financial position. At a significance value 0,95 maximal mistake of sample makes 7%.

As it was found out during interrogation, more than half of townspeople (52%) get footwear 2-3 times per year, one third people in Nizhni Novgorod (34%) – 2-3 times per half-year, 14% - one time a year and less often.

According to the received information, the largest part of townspeople (38%) buys footwear in the market, 34% - in the specialized shoe shops, 28% - in shoe departments and the shops located in shopping centers.

Despite of shoe shops popularity, which are frequently specialized on concrete marks of footwear, 80% interrogated inhabitants have no any preferable mark.

At last purchase of footwear 25% of respondents have spent from 2000 to 2999 roubles, 24% - from 3000 to 3999 roubles, 15% - from 4000 to 4999 roubles, 9% - from 1500 to 1999 roubles, 8% - from 1000 to 1499 roubles. Less than 1000 and more then 5000 roubles at last purchase of footwear have spent 7% interrogated people of Nizhni Novgorod. On the average, purchase of one pair of footwear costed for inhabitants of Nizhni Novgorod 2654 roubles.

If income of the respondent is high, the footwear he wears is more expensive, and it is no wonder. However the obvious interrelation is observed between the sum which is spends for footwear and an educational level of the respondent: respondents with secondary education have spent for footwear on the average 1798 roubles, people with uncompleted higher education – 2993 roubles, with higher education – 3169 roubles.
